World-Class Waves • Local Knowledge • Genuine Hospitality
Experience Peru Through the Eyes of the Locals.
More Than a Surf Trip
Experience Peru through the eyes of the locals.
Peru Surf Tours takes you beyond the best spots — surfing waves most visitors would never find on their own and experiencing the beach towns just south of Lima with people who call this coastline home.
World-class surf is the reason you come. The people, food, culture and friendships are what make the trip unforgettable.
Peru is widely considered a “goofy-foot paradise” because its coastline is uniquely shaped to catch South Pacific swells, creating an abundance of legendary left-hand point breaks. But the area also offers a number of world-class rights — giving you plenty of reasons to go right in a country famous for its lefts.
Surf • Food • Culture • PeopleOur Story • Meet Antonio
Peru Surf Tours began long before it had a name.
Antonio grew up in the beach towns just south of Lima, in the same coastline where he learned to surf. Later, he lived in the United States for 20 years, surfing with local surfers who were always talking about the waves Peru had to offer.
While in the States, Antonio studied Graphic Design, where he began developing projects inspired by surf expeditions to Peru — creating surf packages, working out the details and prices, coming up with slogans, and bringing it all together with photographs of the breaks he grew up surfing back home. Slowly turning an idea into a dream. Along the way, he also built years of experience in hospitality and tourism, including nearly nine years with Hilton Hotels in Deerfield Beach, Florida.
In 2012, Antonio returned home to Peru. The following year, Peru Surf Tours became real: a way to combine world-class waves with local knowledge, genuine hospitality, Peruvian food, history, culture and the people who make this coastline home.
“It was created because one surfer spent years dreaming about bringing two worlds together—his life in the United States and the home he always carried in his heart.”
